AMD Radeon Pro W5700 8GB GDDR6 than just 3D CAD. It is actually intended for more complex workflows, such as GPU rendering, virtual reality (VR), and real-time visualization. The double-height board has one USB-C port for modern VR headsets, five Mini DisplayPorts, and eight gigabytes of GDDR6 RAM.

‘the “world’s first” professional graphics card using PCIe Gen 4’ promotes itself with double the bandwidth of PCIe Gen 3.

Indeed, the Radeon Pro W5700 may appear to be a replacement for the AMD Radeon Pro WX 5100, which primarily serves 3D CAD. However, in reality, it delivers significantly more power. AMD introduced the high-end professional graphics card, the Radeon Pro W5500, on February 10th, 2020. It’s based on the 7 nm process and utilizes the Navi 14 graphics processor in its Navi 14 PRO XL variant, providing support for DirectX 12. This graphics processor is of average size, featuring a die area of 158 mm² and housing 6,400 million transistors.
